8 people in hospital after car hits Metro bus in south Houston

Source: Houston ChronicleOct.迷你倉最平 09--Several people, including a child, were sent to the hospital Wednesday morning after a car plowed into the back of a Metro bus in south Houston.The crash happened about 7 a.m. in the 7000 block of Scott near Southlawn, said Margaret O'Brien Molina, a Metro spokeswoman.Molina said the bus was stopped at a bus stop when the driver of a car slammed into the back of it. Eight people, including the bus driver and the car driver as well as a child, were taken to the hospital. The child complained of a leg injury and the others, all adults, complained of neck and back injuries. The injuries were non-life threatening, Molina said.Molina said three passengers were on the bus at the time of the wreck. It was unclear, she added, if they were among the people ta迷你倉en to the hospital.It's the second straight day a Metro bus has been involved in a wreck. Several people were sent to the hospital after a chain-reaction crash about 1:10 p.m. Tuesday on Almeda Genoa at Rowlett.Metro officials said a vehicle in front of the bus stopped suddenly, resulting in the bus rear-ending that vehicle.
